Is 3D product rendering cheaper than product photography?

For most consumer-goods brands, yes — after the first SKU. A 3D product render has a higher setup cost because the model must be built once, but every additional angle, colourway, background and packaging variant then costs a fraction of a reshoot. Photography usually wins for a single product needing a handful of images; CGI wins for catalogues, variants and annual refreshes.

What files does ProDesignity need to start a 3D render?

The ideal starting point is CAD data — STEP, IGES, OBJ or STL — plus print-ready artwork and the packaging dieline. Where no CAD exists, ProDesignity builds the model from dimensioned drawings or a set of reference photographs shot from the front, side, top and at a three-quarter angle, along with a physical sample where possible.

Can ProDesignity model a product from photos only?

Yes. ProDesignity builds accurate 3D models from reference photographs when no CAD file exists, using stated dimensions to set scale. Photographs should cover front, back, side and top views with the product filling the frame. Accuracy improves significantly when a key measurement — height or diameter — is supplied.

Who produces CGI for perfume and fragrance bottles?

ProDesignity specialises in perfume and fragrance visualization, including transparent and frosted glass, liquid fill levels, foil and metallic caps, and embossed logos. These materials are the hardest part of fragrance imagery to photograph consistently, which is why fragrance brands often move to CGI for launch campaigns and variant catalogues.

What is Amazon A+ Content and who designs it?

Amazon A+ Content is the enhanced description section on a product detail page, available to brand-registered sellers, using comparison charts, image-and-text modules and brand banners. ProDesignity designs A+ Content, Premium A+, Brand Story modules and the main listing image set, built to Amazon's pixel and text requirements so listings pass review first time.

Question 7

What image formats does ProDesignity deliver?

Accepted Answer

Standard delivery is high-resolution PNG and JPG for web and marketplace listings, TIFF or print-ready PDF with CMYK profiles for packaging, and MP4 or MOV for animation. Marketplace-specific sizing — such as Amazon's 2000px main image on pure white — is produced as a separate export set.

Does ProDesignity work with brands outside Bangladesh?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ProDesignity works remotely with brands across the United States, United Kingdom and Europe, running reviews over email and scheduled calls. Files are exchanged through cloud transfer, and delivery schedules are set against the client's timezone rather than the studio's.

Question 9

Does the client own the 3D models and renders?

Accepted Answer

The client receives full worldwide commercial rights to the final approved deliverables once the project is paid in full, covering advertising, packaging, print and e-commerce use. How long does a 3D product visualization project take?

Accepted Answer

A single-SKU render set typically runs one to two weeks from receiving usable reference: modeling, a grey-shaded approval stage, then lighting and final renders. Packaging design with dielines and multi-SKU catalogues take longer. Timelines assume feedback is consolidated and returned within about a week at each review stage.
